Burial will follow the service at Palestine Baptist Church Cemetery. Christopher Nalls’ life began on March 5, 1961 in Fayette, AL. when he was born to Trennon Roy Nalls and Billie Jo Wilson Nalls. Three children were born to this union. Christopher accepted Christ at a young age and joined First Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. J.H. Thompson. He served in many capacities. Throughout his lifetime membership he progressed from junior choir to senior choir, worked on the kitchen crew, the usher board, was a van driver, and sometimes played the drums. Christopher received his education in the Fayette County and Lamar County School systems. He was a superb athlete, playing football, basketball, and baseball. He was also gifted at playing pool, chess, and was also a talented artist and drew beautiful pictures. He was also a lover of good food. He loved to cook and enjoyed grilling for family gatherings. Christopher was united in holy matrimony to Gwendolyn Hughes Nalls on August 26, 1984. During this thirty-six-year union, there was an abundance of joy, laughter, and love. Together they have six children, all of whom are aware of his sincere love, and pride held for each of them. Christopher worked various jobs throughout his life but being the assistant coach for the AAU Lasers Traveling Basketball Team gave him the greatest satisfaction. He loved mentoring young minds. Due to his nonjudgmental outlook and sympathetic heart, team members enjoyed talking to him and listening to his perspective. Christopher received his wings to his heavenly rest on September 10, 2020. He will be missed tremendously by all who knew him, but most of all by his family to whom he was affectionately known as Dad, Flynn, Pops, Paw Paw, and Uncle Daddy.
