Donald "Red" Madison

Mr. Donald Ray “Red” Madison, age 72 of Berry, died Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Fayette Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 27th at 11:00 a.m. at Norwood Chapel with Rev.. Byron Kimbrell and Rev. Ron Collett officiating. Burial will follow in the Boley cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel. Mr. Madison was born June 23, 1938 in Berry, the son of Thomas and Nettie Lee Parr Madison. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Faye Baker Madison; a daughter, Joyce Thacker; his parents and six brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife, Lillian Madison of Berry; three sons, Tommy Ray (Charlotte) Madison of Akworth, GA; Ricky Wayne (Becky) Madison of Berry; and Bobby (Nonna) Arthur of Buford, GA; four grandchildren, Jeffery Scott Madison, Michael Wayne Madison, Daniel Madison and Faith Madison; two brothers, Robert Madison of Huntsville; Calvin Madison of Berry; and one sister, Betty Madison of Huntsville.
