Rev. J.R.Thomas Sr. long time pastor of the New Friendship Baptist Church passed away at the Hospice of West Alabama on December 20, 2010. Funeral Service for Rev. Thomas will be Monday December 27 at 1:00pm at the New Zion Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Oak Ridge Cemetery.
