Lecil Guin

Lecil Guin age 89 of Guin, AL died Sunday, January 2, 2011 in the Generations of Vernon, AL. Born in Guin, AL he is the son of the late Clifton and Bessie B. Hawkins Guin and the Husband of the late Inez Abercrumbie Guin. He had lived in Guin all of his life and was a member of the Tidwell Chapel Church Of Christ and a Veteran of World War II having served in the US Navy. He is survived by 3 Daughters, Mary Elaine Ballard and Carolyn Ann Sizemore both of Detroit, AL and Sandy Hopkins of Athens, AL, 2 Sons, Donald H. Guin of Carbon Hill, AL and Robert Dale Guin of Guin, AL, 7 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandson, and 2 Sisters, Daisy Sanderson of Hamilton, AL and Mary Nell Pollard of Brilliant, AL. He was also preceded in death by 2 Sisters, 1 Brother and 1 Grandchild. Services held Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens. Roger Hubbert officiating.
