Lizzie Rowland

Mrs. Lizzie Rowland, age 87 of Fayette, passed away Friday, January 28, 2011 at Hospice of West Alabama. Funeral Service for Mrs. Rowland will be Wednesday Feb. 2nd at 10:30am at Norwood Chapel with burial to follow at the Fayette Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The visitation will be Wed. one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Rowland was a lifelong residence of Fayette and a longstanding member of the Fayette First Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Linda (Ted) Falls of Bedford, Texas; one brother, Wallace (Mary) Baker of Birmingham, AL and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Bill Baker, Bob Baker, Bobby Belue, Harlan Clardy, Orrie Knowlton and Dr. Gene Deal. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Fayette Memorial Gardens Perpetual Care Fund.
