Myrtle Pope

Mrs. Myrtle Pope, age 90 of Fayette, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Fayette Long Term Care Center. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 12th at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel with Rev. Robert Parrish officiating. Burial will follow in the Fayette Memorial Gardens cemetery. The visitation will be from 1:00-2:00p.m. prior to the service. Mrs. Pope was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Pope in 1996; her son, Nicky Pope in 2006; four sisters and two brothers. Pallbearers are Fred Rogers, Gene Fulmer, John Gary, Wayne Gilliam and Guy Stough. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Fred Yerby, Dr. H.E. Breitling, Chris Moore and Steven Nolen.
