Mrs. Imo L. (Waymon) Jenkins

Mrs. Imo L. Jenkins age 65 of Fayette the wife of Waymon Jenkins passed away Saturday February 12, 2011 at her residence. Funeral Service for Mrs. Jenkins will be Tuesday at 2:00pm at Norwood Chapel with Rev. Gary Cargile and Phillip Bozeman officiating. Burial will follow at the New Chapel Church Cemetery. The visitation will be Monday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Norwood Chapel. Mrs. Jenkins was born April 23, 1945 in the New Chapel Community of Fayette County. She was preceded in death by her Father Jabe Gant; Mother, Nora Willingham Gant; Brother, James “Bill” Gant and Sister, Ida Mauren Gant. Survivors include her husband, Waymon Jenkins, Sons, Darryl (Beth) Morris, Danny (Michelle) Morris, and Tim Morris all of Fayette; Tony (Diane) Jenkins, and Daughter, Lynn (Jeff) Brewer of Fitzgerald, GA; brothers, Nolan (Janet) Gant and Wayne (Geral) Gant of Fayette; sisters, Inez Traweek of Bankston, Martha Files of Fayette and Charlene (Melvin) Carey of Oakman; grandchildren, Chelsea Morris, Tyler Morris, Holly Morris, Don Pitts, Mason Jenkins, Ryan Jenkins, Josh Griffin, Tyler Curry and Amber Courington; great grandchildren, Brandon Olivers, and Haylee Jenkins. Pallbearers are David Traweek, Joe Gant, Randy Cone, Greg Gant, Heath Porter and Malcolm Gilreath. Honorary pallbearers are Fayette County Medical Center Cancer Outpatient Staff, Fayette County American Cancer Society Relay for Life Committee and all Relay for Life Team Members.
