Mr. David Michael Parmatier, age 52 of Northport, died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 23rd at 3:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel Funeral Home in Fayette. Burial will be in the Sand Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 P.M. prior to the service. David was born March 3, 1959 in Saratoga Springs, New York. He was a resident of Carroll’s Creek community in Northport for the past ten years and was a member of the Daystar Family Church. He was formerly employed as an EMT and was retired from EMS. Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Hopson Parmatier of Northport; three daughters, Amber (Kevin) McDonald of Crossville; Rebecca Parmatier of Tuscaloosa and Erika Potts of Northport; his parents, James M. Hubbert, Sr. and Cynthia Lewis Hubbert of Fayette; one sister, Sonja Hubbert of New York; two brothers, Thomas Hubbert (Emily) of Saltillo, MS and James M. Hubbert, Jr. (Lisa) of Johns Creek, GA; one grandchild, Emma Lee; his grandmother, Mattie Irene Hubbert of Fayette and Father-in-law, Edwin Hopson of Fayette. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Murray Dale Hubbert, Alice Reed Lewis and Frank C. Lewis. Norwood Chapel of Fayette directing.
