Mrs. Patricia Ann Dison, age 61 of Millport, died Sunday, May 22, 2011 at her residence. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 24th at 2:00 p.m. at the Meadow Branch Cemetery with Bro. Chester Shaw officiating. Mrs. Dison was born August 21, 1949 in Vernon, the daughter of the late Grady B. and Zora Fowler Strickland. She was a resident of Lamar County most of her life. She was a member of the Caines Ridge Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by and infant daughter, two brothers, Jerry Strickland and Carl Strickland and a brother-in-law, Jerry Stripling. Survivors include her husband, William Calvin Dison of Millport; four daughters, Lisa (Troy) White, Mary Ann (Stoney) Dolohite, Joann (Ben) Glasgow and Barbara (Jerome) Taylor all of Millport; one son, Calvin (Michelle) Dison of Millport; three sisters, Mary (Sammy) Atkinson, Joyce (Ricky) Hayes both of Fayette and Ellowease Stripling of Kennedy; four brothers, Charles (Pat) Strickland, Eddie (Karen) Strickland, Stevie Strickland all of Fayette and Buddy (Wanda) Strickland of Winfield; a sister-in-law Sadie S. Jenkins; grandchildren, Billy Joe Vail, Jason Lee Vail (Elyse), Bobby Joe Vail, (Dawn), Troy Lee White, Jr. (Rebbeca), Jamie Lynn White, Deanna Nicole Cunningham, Jeremy Moore, Markel Harris, Daniel Dolohite, Dallas Dolohite, Casey Stripling, Dustin (Sam) Glasgow, Kristina Glasgow, Bruce Deloit, Hunter Taylor, and Heather Taylor, great grandchildren, Chris Burns, Bridget Burns, Haleigh Vail, Kelsey Vail, Abbey Vail, Caleb Vail, Taylor Vail, Bryant White, Raylynn White, Kalee Burns and Layla Rye; special friends, Leroy and Shirley Randolph.
