Johnny Ray Goodwin age 79 of Guin, AL died Tuesday, August 2, 2011 in the DCH Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, AL. Born in Fayette County, AL he is the Son of Adell Doss Goodwin and the late Rufus Goodwin and the Husband of the late Marylene Johnson Goodwin. He had lived in Guin all of his life and attended the New Hope Church Of Christ. He is survived by 2 Daughters, Rhonda Cranford of Vernon, AL, Tammy Bozeman of Guin, AL, A Son Danny Goodwin of Guin, AL, Mother, Adell Doss Goodwin of Winfield, AL, Brother, Roger Goodwin, of Winfield, 2 Sisters, Joyce Franks and Faye Beasley both of Winfield, AL and a Sister in Law, Maerene Johnson of Guin, AL, 4 Grandchildren, Shane Goodwin, Shannon McIntire, Shauna Silas and Cory Bozeman, and 4 Great Grandchildren, Colby Goodwin, Collin Goodwin, Carson Silas, Brodie Silas and Braden McIntire. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers. Services held Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 2:00 pm from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens.
