Rose Marie Keeth

Mrs. Rose Marie Keeth, age 79 of Bankston, died Thursday, November 24, 2011 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 27th at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel with Rev. Jerry Montgomery and Rev. Ed Steelman officiating. Burial will be in the Hopewell-Rose Hill cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel. Mrs. Keeth was born July 23, 1932 in Fayette the daughter of the late Curtis and Myrtle Ruth Hocutt Utley. She was a Homemaker and a life-long resident of Bankston. Mrs. Keeth was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Lavone Keeth. Survivors include three daughters, Beverly (Bryan) Hughes of Northside; Karon (Randall) Collins and Kathy (Charles) Bauer both of Fayette; one son, Allen (Debbie) Keeth of Bankston; eight grandchildren, Crystal Ashby, Whitney Simmons, Michelle Moore, Hunter Collins, Lauren Hughes, Wesley Hughes, Haley Keeth, Matthew Keeth; three great-grandchildren, Dillion Lowery, Lane Lowery and Baylee-Kate Moore. Pallbearers are Wesley Hughes, Hunter Collins, Matt Keeth, Derek Ashby, Wesley Simmons, Dillion Lowery and Lane Lowery. Honorary pallbearers are Hopewell and New Chapel Community, Lucille Brannon, Rebeth Cobb, Scottie Brown, Susan Duke and Camille Sanford.
