Ricky Byars

Mr. Ricky Byars, age 54 of Fayette, died Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 3rd at Norwood Chapel with Rev. Dale Mitchell and Rev. C.J. Townsend officiating. Burial will be in the Old Union cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Markem Byars; sons, Heath Byars and Kyle Byars; step-children, Amy Meadows and Jason Boyce; his mother, Mildred Stewart; sisters, Gina Stewart, Penny Brand, and Paula Hand; brothers, Steve Byars and Jammy Byars; Grandchildren, Brittney Boyce, Katelyn Meadows, Cari Meadows and Lilli Meadows. He was preceded in death by his father, James Byars and one brother, Randy Byars.
