Sarah Brenda Robertson

Mrs. Sarah Brenda Robertson age 59 of Fayette passed away Tuesday December 13, 2011 at the UAB Medical Center in Birmingham. Funeral Service will be Friday December 16, 2011 at 2 o'clock at the Fayette First United Methodist Church with Rev. Eric Bagwell and Rev. Kathy Griffith officiating. Burial will follow at the Fayette Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The visitation will be Thursday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Norwood Chapel Funeral Home in Fayette. Mrs. Robertson was born December 18, 1951. She is the daughter of Laura Trimm and the late James Delton Trimm. She was a graduate of Sulligent High School, the class of 1970. She became a Registered Nurse (RN) and served as a nurse at the Fayette Medical Center, DCH Regional Medical Center, and Hospice of West Alabama. She had been a resident of Fayette County the past 34 years and the Mt. Vernon Community the past 10 years. She was a member of the Sulligent First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband Jerry Robertson, Fayette; her daughter, Brandi (Chris) Thomas, Fayette; grandson, Will Thomas, Fayette; her mother, Laura Trimm, Sulligent; 2 sisters, Rita (Frank) Moore, Huntsville; Lenetta (Joey) Barnes, Sulligent; brother, Eddie (Frankie) Trimm, Guin. She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Jack Trimm. Norwood Chapel Funeral Home in Fayette, directing.
