Mrs. Johnnie Gilbert

Mrs. Johnnie Faye Gilbert, age 79 of Bankston, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 14th at 12:00 Noon at Norwood Chapel with Bro. Steve Freeman and Bro. Mac Adkins officiating. Burial will be in the Scuffle Grit cemetery in Marion County. Survivors include her husband, Ray Gilbert of Bankston; one daughter, Donna Jones of Northport; one son, Danny (Twana) Gilbert of Bankston; one brother, Roger Adkins of Winfield; six grandchildren, Jonathan (Jenni) Gilbert, Kenneth Gilbert, Eric Jones, Jennifer Gilbert, Jessica Jones, and Joey Smith; five great grandchildren, Grace Lightstep, Autume Jones, Aubrey Jones, Jackson Burton and Axel Jones; Special Friends Lisa Bryant of Northport and Gordon Thompson of Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Connie Sam Adkins and Lucille McDaniel Adkins and a grandson, Jadi Gilbert. Pallbearers are Richard Adkins, Mac Adkins, Joey Smith, Daniel Burton, Mike Stewart and Tim Bryant. Norwood Chapel of Fayette directing.
