Luellen Gault Blakney

Ms. Luellen Gault Blakney, age 71 of Fayette, passed away January 15, 2012 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 17th at 2:00 p.m. at the Covin Baptist cemetery with Rev. Billy Carl Sullivan officiating. Mrs. Blakney was born Nov. 15, 1940 in Fayette Co., the daughter of the late Van and Margaret Jane Raley Gault. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Margie Van Gault and Jimmie Sue Gann. Survivors include one daughter, Margaret Stines of Fayette; one son, James Wyman (Melissa) Blakney of Carrollton; one sister, Jane Perkins of Tuscaloosa; four granddaughters Candy Mullenex, Rachael Fairchild, Susan Blakney, and Amy Blakney; and one grandson, Matthew Stines.
