Hubert Sawyer

Mr. Hubert Sawyer, age 68 of Berry, died Thursday, February 2,2012 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Feb. 5th at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel with Rev. Bobby Clark officiating. Burial will be in the Berry City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel. Survivors include his daughter, Melissa Sawyer (Walter Brister); sister, Gaynell Sawyer Johnston; two brothers-in-law, Foy Newcomb (Janie) and Larry Newcomb (Jeanie); one sister-in-law, Loretta Root (George) and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Gayle Newcomb Sawyer in 2006; his parents, Veris Henry Sawyer and Emily Francis Lowery Sawyer; one brother, James Thomas Sawyer.
