Roesle Davis Terry

Mrs. Roesle Davis Terry, age 95 of Fayette, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012 at Fayette Long Term Care Center. Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 10th at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel with Rev. Billy Carl Sullivan and Rev. Alan Magouirk officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Norwood Chapel. Mrs. Terry was born Nov. 16, 1916 the daughter of the late Rev. Earlie E. Davis and Esther Jane Howard Davis. She was a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church. Mrs. Terry was a former Center Manager of the Fayette Nutrition Center. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Terry; two sons, Buddy L. Terry and Teddy D. Terry; two sisters, Evanae Vice and Odesle Barnes. Survivors include one son, Edward Terry (Eva Nell) of Fayette; two daughters, Rosemary Terry of Fayette and Dorisene Woodfin (Ricky Ogle) of Weogufka, AL; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Pallbearers are James Woodfin, Steve Woodfin, Chad Terry, Dennis Pendley, Jimmy Knight, Butch Knight, Shannon Terry and J.B. Swiney. Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Ogle, Employees of Fayette Long Term Care Center, Kevin Terry and the Fayette Nutrition Center.
