Martha Nell Gentry

Mrs. Martha Nell Gentry, age 74 of Helena, formerly of the Hubbertville community, passed away on Monday morning, April 9, 2012, in the Shelby Baptist Hospital in Alabaster. Mrs. Gentry was preceded in death by her sister, Mrs. Hilda Tucker and brother, Mr. Ray Webster. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Charles Gentry of Helena, a son, Brian Gentry of Helena, sisters, Janie Holmes of Alabaster, and Brenda Rush (Larry) of Alabaster, brother, Phillip (Carolyn) Webster of Hubbertville, grandchildren, Grady and Katie Gentry of Helena, and a host of nieces,nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2012 from the Bowen Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow in the Berea Church of Christ Cemetery near Hubbertville. Scott Webster will be the officiating minister. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. -2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Bowen Funeral Home directing.
