Douglas Gilpin

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 14, 2012 at Norwood Chapel with Pastor David Hassel officiating. Burial will follow in El Bethel Cemetery. Survivors include his wife Marie Owens Gilpin; three daughters, Laura Rainey (Randy); Pam Sickles (Tommy) and Stephanie Adams (Dewight Watkins); six grandchildren, William McCool, Elisabeth McCool, Joshua McCool, Sarah Sickles, Trey Sickles and Zander Watkins; one great granddaughter, Kearah Byars; a special niece Shelia Watson; Sisters, Eloise Stewart, Elizabeth Poole and Dimpoleah Manasco; He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mechelle McCool in 2007; Parents, Marvin and Etta Watkins Gilpin; sisters, Lucille McCroy and Helen Faucett and one brother, Eddie James (Goob) Gilpin.
