Jessie Wooldridge

Jessie Wooldridge age 57 of Columbus, MS died Friday in the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Born in Columbus, MS, he is the Son of the late George Wayne and Velma Moore Wooldridge. He had lived in the Columbus area most of his life and was a member of the Full Gospel Worship Center in Vernon, AL. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Nascar and Fooseball and loved listening to music with friends. He is survived by 2 Daughters, Erica Lee Wooldridge and Allison Gail Wooldridge both of Gulfport, MS, 5 Grandchildren, 2 Sisters, Mickie Weathers of Ethelsville, AL and Robin Elmore of Columbus, MS, 1 Brother, James Earl Strickland of Columbus, MS, a host of Nieces and Nephews and a Special Friend, Lisa Peeks of Columbus, MS. He was also preceded in death by 2 Sisters, Annette Ross and Kay Wilcox and a Brother, Bud Strickland. Pallbearers, Frank York, Danny Hansen, Robbie Rickard, Chad Elmore, Chase Elmore, Jason Godsey, Michael Thomas and John Robertson. Honorary Pallbearers, Larry Dale Parks, Randy Boman, Ronnie Crawford, Chris York, Toby Tatum, Robbie Langford, Terry Adkins, Kenny Thompson, all of his Nascar and Fooseball friends and all of the wonderful friends of Full Gospel Worship Center. Services held Monday, July 30, 2012 at 5:00 pm from the Full Gospel Worship Center with Bro. James Godsey officiating. Burial in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in New Hope, MS. Visitation Monday 3-5 pm at the church. Norwood Funeral Homes, Inc. of Sulligent, AL directing.
