Jay "little Bud" Rowe

Mr. Jay "Little Bud" Rowe age 72 of Fayette passed away Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Funeral Service will be Wednesday September 5, 2012 at 2:00pm at Norwood Chapel with Rev. Victor Bonner officiating. Burial will follow at the Flatwoods Cemetery. The visitation will be Tuesday from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at Norwood Chapel. Mr. Rowe was born in West Virginia the son of the late Richard Rowe and Edith Blankenship Rowe. He formerly lived in the Flatwoods Community in Fayette County and had been a resident of the Harkins Lake community for the past 5 years. He was an employee of Ox Bodies in Fayette. Survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Kimbrell Rowe of Fayette, his grandson, Dale Jay Montgomery of Crystal Lake, Ill., two sisters, Cynthia Rowe and Evelyn Darnell Jackson. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Renee Rowe on October 10, 2010. Norwood Chapel Funeral Home in Fayette, directing.
