Ollie Ruth Ballard Stricklin age 99 of Guin, AL died Monday, October 1, 2012 in the Golden Living Center in Winfield, AL. Born in Fayette County, AL she is the Daughter of the late James William and Eliza Sultana Owens Ballard and the Wife of the late Jessie Stricklin. She had lived in Guin the past 35 years, was a retired Nurse and a member of the Guin First Baptist Church. She is survived by 2 Daughters, Jewel (Wyman) Estes of Guin, AL and Charlene (Jim) Norris of Lebanon, Ohio. 6 Grandchildren, Jim (Donna) Norris II, Dana Norris, Cindy (Bill) Sager, Becky Toller, Jamey Estes and Scott (Teri) Norris, 9 Great Grandchildren, Bobb Pew, Sam (Jessica) Pew, Shelley Sager (Allan) Blocker, Justin (Misty) Estes, Tasia Estes (Joseph) Benton, Jordan Estes, Lyndsay Norris, Jessica Norris and Oliver Toller and 3 Great Great Grandchildren, Marcie Lancaster, Cade Lancaster and Will Blocker. Services held Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 11:00 am from the Guin First Baptist Church with burial in the Brilliant Memorial Gardens. Bro. Scott Stokes and Dr. Kenny Hatcher officiating.
