Wanda Back

Mrs. Wanda Back, age 66 of Fayette, died Thursday, December 20, 2012 at her residence. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Bankston Cemetery with Rev. Charles Segrest officiating. Mrs. Back was born January 3, 1946 in Bellcraft, Kentucky, the daughter of the late William Joseph and Cordelia Cuzzort Hammonds. She was a resident of Fayette County since 2004 and a former resident of Hampton, VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Vickie Lynn Back and five brothers and sisters. Survivors include her husband, James Virgil Back of Fayette; one daughter, Kay (Tim) Lewis of Fayette, AL; two sons, James Virgil (Chris) Back of Everglade City, FL; and Joe (Tammy) Back of Bankston, AL; four sisters, Virginia Staples, Pauline Bastow, Jana Sue Back and Leota Lawson; one brother, D.L. Hammonds; five grandchildren, Amanda Dejulio, Scott Lewis, Tyler Back, Adam Back and McKenzie Back; two great grandchildren, Seanna and Makayla Dejulio.
