Mrs. Opal L. Jones age 85 of the Boley Springs Community of Fayette County died Sunday, February 24, 2013 at her residence. Funeral Service for Mrs. Jones will be Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Boley Church of the Nazarene with Bro. Haskell Tinker and Bro. Jimmy Earnest officiating. Burial will follow in the Flatwoods Cemetery. The visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 27th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel. Mrs. Jones was born in Isola, Mississippi on April 1, 1927 the daughter of the late Harry V. Morris and Alice Lavelle Ingram Morris. She was a resident of the Boley Community since 1977 and was formerly employed at the US Apparel Garment Plant in Berry. She was a member of the Boley Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by: 2 daughters, Nan Bishop (Jim) of Mission, Tx., Violet Evans of Nashville, TN.; 5 sons, Wayne Reynolds (Robin) of Savannah, Ga., Doug Reynolds (Ronda) of Carpentersville, IL., Roger Jones (Susie) of Lake Zurick, IL., Ron Reynolds of Nashville, Tn., Jim Jones (Kathy) of Berry, Al.; 2 sisters, Edna Rutland of Jackson Ms., Julia Frasu of Penn Valley, Calif., 1 brother, Hughie Morris of Brentwood, Tn. 23 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hermon Jones, 3 sons, Richard Reynolds, Sandy Jones, and Allen Jones. Pallbearers: Raymond Turner, Mark Jones, Scott Patton, Roy Moore, Jason Raynes, , Forest Smith and Michael Jones. Honorary pallbearers are SouthernCare Hospice employees and Fayette County Home Health employees.
