Todd Cantrell of Birmingham, AL, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. He was 49 years old. A native of Guin, AL, Todd is the son of Betty Sue Cantrell and the late Ruble Cantrell. Todd has lived in Birmingham for 15 years, and he was an executive with AT&T and traveled extensively. He is a graduate of Pensacola Christian Academy with undergraduate and master’s degrees in education. He was also an accomplished pianist, and an enthusiastic lifelong Alabama fan. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his sister, Wanda Cantrell; aunts and uncles Clistie Benton and the late Roy Benton; Robbie and Dempsey Bozeman, Evelyn Busby and the late Ernest Busby; Margaret and Gene Bozeman; and the late Bobbye and Orville Cantrell. He is also survived by scores of loving and loyal friends, especially Doug Yarbrough, as well as Baxter and Simon. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at the Guin First Baptist Church. Bro. Steven Webb, Bro. Randy Wright, Bro. Steve Jones and Dr. Kenny Hatcher officiating.
