Cecil Sullivan

Mr. Cecil Thomas Sullivan,Jr. age 57, died Thursday, April 25, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Carl Sullivan and Rev. V.W. Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. The visitation will be Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel. Mr. Sullivan was born February 17, 1956 in Lepanto, Ark., the son of the late Cecil Thomas Sullivan, Sr. and Rosie Lee Bishop Sullivan. He was a resident of the Bluff community for 50 years. Mr. Sullivan was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Peggy Thompson, Judy Shirley and Emily Sullivan. Survivors include his wife Deborah Sullivan of Fayette; two sons, Matthew Scott Sullivan of Mt. View Ark. and Jason Thomas (LeAnn) Sullivan of Greenbrier, Ark. step-daughter, Shana Beth Taylor of Fayette and step-son, Josh (Marci) Rouse of Alabaster; one sister, Betty Bice of Graysville, AL; one brother, James Sullivan of Hickory Ridge, Ark.; seven grandchildren, Dylan Sullivan, Kaylin Sullivan, Austin Rouse, Logan Rouse, Cole Taylor, Bethany Taylor and Trey Taylor. Pallbearers are Jason Sullivan, J.D. Thompson, Ricky Foster, Robert Morrison, Kenny Richardson, Chad Early, James Early and Jim Barnes.
