Ricky Spruell

Mr. Ricky Spruell, age 47 of the Flatwoods Community, died Thursday, June 27, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sulphur Springs New Hope Church with Bro. Jared Brown and Bro. Bill Wade officiating. Burial will follow in the Flatwoods cemetery. The visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the church. Ricky was born April 2, 1966 in Jefferson County. He was a resident of the Flatwoods Community for the past four years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Ricky was a member of the Pea Ridge Community Church and participated in the Praise and Worship team. He was a truck driver for Shaffer Truck Lines. Survivors include his daughter, Rebecca Sanders of Cortez, CO; his parents Clyde and Anna Kimbrell Spruell of Flatwoods; one sister, Michele (Toney) Moore of Leeds AL; one brother, Dwayne (Crystal) Spruell of Dothan, AL and one grandson, Gunter Sanders. Pallbearers are Ray Springfield, Bill Springfield, Harry Childers, Greg Fannin, James Roach and Josh Spruell. Honorary pallbearer is Frankie Brand. Norwood Chapel directing.
