Willie E. Curington

Mr. Willie E. Curington, age 78 of Berry, died Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Noland Hospital in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel with Sister Amy Lowery officiating. Burial will follow in the Pendley Chapel cemetery. The visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel. Mr. Curington was born March 17, 1935 in Walker Co., AL, the son of the late Allen and Alice Robbins Curington. He was a resident of Berry for the last twenty years and was a former resident of Illinois for more than thirty years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Curington. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Milligan Curington; one daughter, Pamela Curington; three sons, Allen Curington, David Curington and Charles Curington; one sister, Linda Lampole, two brothers, J.B. Taylor and John Handley; a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Carl Ledlow, Dale Ledlow, Kenneth Logan, Keith Brumbeloe, Alan Ledlow, Paul Ledlow and Dwight Ledlow.
