Corene Baumgartner

Mrs. Corene Baumgartner, age 89 of Fayette, died Friday, February 28, 2014 at Fayette Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 2, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at New River Church of Christ with Bro. Levi Sides and Bro. Enoch Estes officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The visitation will be Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel. Mrs. Baumgartner is survived by two daughters, Sherlon Hill and Debra (Doug) Spencer; one son, Cullen (Wanda) Baumgartner; one sister, Estelle Blalock; three brothers, Edward Aldridge, Eugene Aldridge and Clarence Aldridge; eight grandchildren, Myra H. (Ben) Miles, Greg Hill, Trent (Kacy) Hill, Bryan (Ashley) Spencer, Bridget (Tony) Engle, Scotty Baumgartner, Donna B. (Johnny) Shirley and Crystal B. Farris; thirteen great grandchildren, Shawn and Melaina Miles, Blaine, Brennon, Braylon and Jase Hill, Davis and Cale Spencer, Imri Engle, Justin Baumgartner, Jody Shirley, Sidney and Ashton Farris; one great-great grandchild Brettley Miles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred J. Baumgartner, parents, Andrew and Vada M. Aldridge; sisters Irene Blalock, Clara Mae Whitson and Infant twins, Ray and Faye, great grandchild, Blayke Hill.
