Mary E. (Hannah) Bevan

Mrs. Mary E. (Hannah) Bevan, age 87 of Eufaula, AL, formerly of Berry, died Monday, December 8, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the Berry Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Bevan and Rev. Kenneth Bozeman officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Mrs. Bevan was born October 7, 1927 in Tuscaloosa Co., the daughter of the late Charles Wilbur Sullivan and Lilly Mae Simpson Sullivan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Jones and two granddaughters, Mischa Bevan and Rachel Sekulich. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Elzo M. Bevan; two daughters, Carolyn Sue (Shawn) Williams and Charlotte Ann Bevan; three sons, Billy Michael (Gloria) Bevan, Paul Gregory (Rochelle) Bevan and Ralph Stephen (Angela) Bevan; two sisters, Jewel Griffin and Faye Wells; one brother, Larry Sullivan; eleven grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren. Norwood Chapel of Fayette directed.
