Cleo Bonner, Jr

Mr. Cleo Bonner, Jr., age 69 of Berry, died Friday, December 12, 2014 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Norman Berry, Bro. Phillip Harkness and Bro. Phillip Bonner officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the Church. Mr. Bonner was born October 16, 1945 in Atlanta, GA, the son of the late Cleo Bonner, Sr. and Evelyn Parker Bonner. He was a resident of Berry for 45 years and was a member of the Berry Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Clifton Bonner in 2010 and one brother, Jimmy Bonner in 1986. Survivors include his wife, Myra Ellis Bonner of Berry; one daughter, Cathy Bonner Gann of Houston, MS; one sister, Darlene Bolden of Baton Rouge, LA; two brothers, Freddy Bonner of Jasper and Lester Eugene Bonner of Bankston; six grandchildren, Kayla Kimbrell, Kevin Kimbrell II, Jacob Kimbrell, Logan Kimbrell, Kendra Bonner and Ally Bonner; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Scott Bonner, Ryan Clark, Jeremy Bolden, Casey Corkerin, Phillip Bonner, Kim Clouse and Jonathon Smith. Norwood Chapel directing.
