Vaudene Bobo Pendley

Mrs. Vaudene Bobo Pendley, age 91 of Fayette, died Thursday, January 8, 2015 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel with Rev. Mark Jenkins and Rev. Billy Carl Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow in Fayette City Cemetery. The visitation will be Sunday from 1:00-2:00 at Norwood Chapel. Mrs. Pendley was born March 2, 1923 in Fayette, the daughter of the late Virgil Bobo and Janie Harton Bobo. She was a life-long resident of Fayette and was a member of the Covin Baptist Church. She was formerly employed as secretary with Birmingham Women Missionary Association. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Rachel Jenkins; three brothers, Tim Bobo, Thadeus “T.W.” Bobo and Claude Bobo. Survivors include her husband, Olen Pendley; one daughter, Judy Lynn Jenkins of Jaco- Costa Rica; two sons, Joel Jenkins of Auburn and Thomas Jenkins of Fayette; Grandchildren, Mark Jenkins, Justin McCoy, Amanda Tidwell, and Greg Jenkins; Great Grandchildren, Megan McCoy, Sidney Jenkins, Ashlyn McCoy and Sophia Jenkins.
