Betty Pike

Miss Betty Pike, age 74 of Berry, died Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Hospice of West Alabama. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Davis Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Lynell Early officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel. Miss Pike was born July 21, 1940 in Fayette County. She was a resident of the Samantha Community most of her life and was a member of the Davis Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Miss Pike was preceded in death by her father, Johnnie Pike on July 6, 1984 and her mother, Lorene Patton Pike on June 5, 2013. Survivors include five sisters Marty (George) Ambrose and Jean Pike both of Atlanta, GA; Johnnie (Comber) Tubbs of Cottondale, Barbara Davis of Nashville, TN and Sandy (Johnny) Ryan of Berry; and one brother, Felix Pike of Berry. Pallbearers are Shawn Ryan, Jeff Ambrose, Michael Bridges, Chris Bridges, Craig Tubbs and Mark Patton.
