Kittie Hill

Mrs. Kittie Hill, age 82 of Fayette, died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel with Rev. Darryl Ballew and Rev. Stan Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery in the Bluff community. The visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel. Mrs. Hill was born September 12, 1932 in Leoma, TN, the daughter of the late Robert Monroe Poole and Lizzie Corbin Poole. She was a resident of Florida for many years before moving to Fayette Co. in 1970. She formerly worked at Munsingwear and Noah’s Ark Pre-School. Mrs. Hill was a member of the Fayette First Assembly of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Hill; one grandson, Jason Perkins and five brothers. Survivors include three daughters, Phyllis (Tommy) Perkins of Fayette, Bonna (Jeff) Taylor of Kennedy and Darlyne (Billy) Dunn of Fayette ; six grandchildren, Michael (Tracie) Perkins, Amanda Perkins, Shonna (Ryan) McFerrin, Blake Taylor, Clay (Maria) Taylor and Mason Dunn; seven great-grandchildren, Alex, Anna and Abby Perkins, Kason Oakes and Saydee Perkins, Jake Taylor, and Roman McFerrin. Pallbearers are Michael Perkins, Blake Taylor, Clay Taylor, Mason Dunn, Alex Perkins, Ryan McFerrin and Shawn Trimm. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Clint Mc Entyre, Dr. Dirk Berry, TSICU Nursing Staff, 4 South Nursing Staff and Mattie Lee. .
