Annette Mills

Annette T. Mills, age 79 of Fayette passed away August 29, 2016 at Fayette Medical Center Long Term Care Unit. Services will be Friday, September 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Moundville with Norwood-Wyatt Chapel of Fayette directing. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Edna Earl Tomlin and infant son, David Russell Mills. Survivors include her husband, James David Mills; daughter, Marilyn M. Mills; son, James Lynn Mills; sister, Elaine Ulmer; and grandchildren, James Kelly Mills and Dylan Jade Mills. Annette was born in Lamar County Alabama. She grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. After retiring she and her husband retired to Fayette. She attended and was a very active member of Fayette Church of Christ. She was a member of the Progress Club. She loved attending the ladies class at Fayette Church of Christ. Honorary pallbearers will be Rex Ulmer, Jeff Ulmer, Stewart Ulmer, David Morrison, and Dean Morrison. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
