Jimmy Watson

Jimmy L. Watson, age 94 of Tuscaloosa passed away December 30, 2016 at his home. Services will be Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Circlewood Baptist Church with Dr. Herb Thomas and Rev. Charles Lynn officiating and Norwood-Wyatt Chapel directing. Interment with military honors will follow at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. Visitation will be today from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. James L. and Gladys Watson; stepmother, Lucy Watson; his wife of 68 years, Addalyne Watson; daughter, Jimalyne “Mimi”; and sister, Olivia Beaty. He is survived by his brother, Billy Watson; daughters, Dyanne Jordan (Carey) of Tuscaloosa and Janet Sexton (Mike) of Fayette; grandchildren, Mollie Henson (Chris), Teresa Henson (Steve), Carey Jordan, Jr. (Krista), Katie McDonald (Matthew), Anne Manning (Patrick), Jason McCracken, Brian McCracken and Brandi Burnette; and great-grandchildren, Addie Henson, Parker Henson, Luke Henson, Chloe Jordan, Sydney Durr, Josh Manning, Jake Manning, Jared Manning, Jordan Manning, Rylee McCracken and Megan Davenport. In memory of Jimmy Watson contributions may be made to Alacare Home Health and Hospice, Hospice of West Alabama or Circlewood Baptist Church.
