Funeral service: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Norwood Chapel with Rev. Bobby Clark officiating. Burial will be in the Bethabara Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Debra Jent Simmons; four daughters, Terri Lynn (Jimbo) Thomaston, Marcie Knight, Abby (James) Bailey & Whitney Knight; one son, Rodney Simmons; Father, Harold Simmons; three sisters, Sandra (Mike) Farrington, Dwynell Simmons & Judy Calvert; one brother, Gary Kimbrell and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Willie Mae Aldridge Simmons. Pallbearers are Jason Logan, Myles Farrington, Steven Farrington, Chris Rice, James Bailey & Randy Logan.
