Wayne Lollar

Mr. Wayne Lollar, age 73 of Berry, died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Fayette Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 25th at 2:00 p.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Norman Berry officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 1-2 p.m. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. A visitation will be held Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel. Mr. Lollar was born October 18, 1936 in Tuscaloosa County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Brack Lollar and Ethel Woods Lollar, five brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife, Viva Davis Lollar of Berry; two sons, Michael Lollar and Timothy (Deena) Lollar of Berry; one daughter, Kimberly (Scott) Johnson of Huntsville, AL; four grandchildren, Matthew Lollar, Chrissie Miller, Rachel Cohn, Aaron Michael Lollar and one sister, Edith Orsborne of Northport.
