Mr. Jerry Stripling, age 58 of Kennedy, passed away Friday, August 27, 2010 at his residence. Funeral service will be Sunday, August 29th at 2:00 p.m. at the Higdon Church of God. The body will lie in state at the church from 1-2 p.m. Burial will follow in the Higdon cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home.
