William Donald Knight

William Donald (Don) Knight age 67 of Guin, AL died Friday, October 1, 2010 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Ms. He was born in Marion County to the late David Garnett and Robby Lee Smith Knight. Don was a member of the Hamilton Church of Christ and served in the National Guard. He enjoyed fishing, Bama football, Nascar dirt track racing, country music and playing pool. He was employed with John Deere. Survived by three Daughters: Lisa (Brian) Cotton of Guin, AL, Donna (Robert) Smith of Inverness AL, Betty Lou (Bob) Versluis of Orion IL, and One Son: William D. (Heather) Knight Jr. of Coal Valley IL, Three Brothers: Dr. David (Frances) Knight of Hamilton, AL, Morris E. (Rhonda) Knight of Columbus, MS and Carlon H. (Annette) Knight of Guin AL. Five Grandchildren and Five Great Grandchildren and a Host of Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by his Parents and a Sister: Lucy Ann Tuck. Services held Sunday, October 3, 2010 at 2: P.M. from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Guin City Cemetery. Bro. Danny Knight officiating. Pallbearers were: Dr. Ken Knight, Dr. Mike Knight, Brandon Aaron, Jacob Cotton, Ray Franks and Rex Trimm. Visitation: Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 12-2 P.M. just prior to the service time.
