Michele Taggart

Michele Taggart age 45 of Guin, AL died Saturday, October 23, 2010 at her residence. Born in White Sands Missile Range, NM she is the Daughter of Joe and Pat Pollard Taylor. She was a member of the Free Water Free Will Baptist Church, a 1983 graduate of MCHS and 1988 graduate from MUW in Columbus, MS with a BS in Nursing. She had worked with the Mississippi State Health Department for over 17 years having retired in November 2009 and moved back to the Pea Ridge Community. She had worked in Lowndes County as Nurse Coordinator and in Starkville the Tombigbee District Health Department as Maternal Child Co-ordinator. She had also worked at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus in Labor and Delivery and also in Jackson, MS at the Women’s Hospital. She is survived by a Daughter, Taylor Moriah Taggart of Starkville, MS, her Parents, Joe and Pat Taylor of Guin, AL, a Brother, Brett L. (Tena) Taylor of Hamilton, AL, A Niece, Carly Taylor and several Aunts and Uncles. Services held Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 2:00 pm from the Free Water Free Will Baptist Church with burial in the Siloam Cemetery. Bro. Dewayne Hammontree and Bro. Randy Wright officiating.
