Beatrice Norris age 79 of Guin, AL died Wednesday, November 10, 2010 in the Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, AL. Born in Guin, AL she is the Daughter of the late Emmitt and Velma Colburn and the Wife of the late Jack Norris. She had lived in Guin all of her life and had retired from Health Tex. She attended the Harmony Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by a Granddaughter, Amanda (Charles) McClain of Fayette, AL, A Great Grandson, Joshua McClain of Fayette, and a Sister, Christine (Dale) Harbin of Guin, AL. Several Nieces and Nephews. She was also preceded in death by a Son Lonnie Norris, A Daughter, Shelia Couch, A Grandson Jonathan and 2 Brothers, Woodrow and Herman Colburn. Services held Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 2:00 pm from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens. Bro. C.W. Box officiating. The visitation is Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Norwood Funeral Homes, Inc. of Guin, AL directing.
