Mrs. Audra Tingle Pendley, age 91 of Berry, died Friday, December 10, 2010 at Fayette Long Term Care Center. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 13th at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Haskell Tinker, Rev. Larry Woods, Rev. Dennis Johnson and Rev. Bobby Pendley officiating. Burial will be in the Madison Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at the funeral home. Mrs. Pendley was born August 14, 1919 in Winston Co. Alabama to Jim Tingle and Julie Abbott Tingle. She was a resident of Berry most of her life and was a member of the Berry Nazarene Church. Mrs. Pendley loved to quilt and she was a loving and dedicated Mother and Grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elton Pendley; son, Sammy Pendley; son-in-law, Rayford Bozeman; her parents and seven brothers and sisters. Survivors include six daughters, Nell (Fred) Sands of Berry; Bonnie Bozeman, Berry; Katie (Billy) Gilreath, Northport; Linda (Lewis) Vice, Akron, AL; Juanita (Garry) Williams, Berry and Patricia Gilliam, Northport; three sons, Jimmy Drew (Shirley) Pendley; Bob (Sue) Pendley and Jacky (Joni) Pendley all of Berry; one brother, Cecil Tingle of Surprise, AZ; 17 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers will be Employees of Northport Health & Rehab Facility, Employees of Fayette Medical Center Long Term Care Center and Dr. Fred Yerby.
