Abigail "Abby" Bailey

Abigail "Abby" Bailey, age 45 of Berry AL, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, in Winston County. Services for Mrs. Bailey will be Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Rhema Christian Fellowship Church, at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow a Bethabara Cemetery. Bro. John David Booth will be officiating the service. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel will be directing the service. 

Abby is preceded in death by her father; Michael Knight, step-father; Terry Simmons, sister; Brandy Knight, and grandmother; Molly Jent. 

She is survived by her sons; Dawson Bailey, and Hunter Bailey, sister; Marcie Knight, mother; Debra Kay Simmons, grandmother; Dorothy Vines (Nanny), uncles; Milton (Sissy) Jent, and Donnie (Diane) Knight, aunts; Sandra (Mike) Farrington, Charlene (Scott) Shepherd, Jenny Holt, and Darlene (Wendell) Whitson, and church family; Florence Church of Christ. 

Abby was born in Jasper, Alabama, and raised in Berry, Alabama. She attended school at Berry High School and she worked at Piggly Wiggly until she married James Bailey and gave birth to two sons, Dawson and Hunter. She then moved to Haleyville until four years ago, and now she lived in Florence, Alabama. 

Pallbearers will be Dawson Bailey, Hunter Bailey, James Bailey, and Roydale Madison.
