Anna Glenn Sharp

Anna Glenn Sharp, age 31, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at UAB Hospital after a short courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Family and friends are invited to A Celebration of Life on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Tuscaloosa, 800 Greensboro Ave, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401, in Chitwood Hall with Rev. Amy Howard and Dr. Clinton Hubbard, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church with a reception to follow. Anna was born on August 9, 1990 in Tuscaloosa. She was a member of the 2008 Northridge High School graduating class. She attended the University of Alabama and later graduated from the Aveda Institute in Birmingham. In 2016 Anna moved to Nashville and worked for Oliv Body Bar and Geist Restaurant where she was embraced and loved greatly her by co-workers, management and clients at both places. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Parson Wyres. She is survived by her parents Glenn and Regina Sharp of Tuscaloosa; Sister Haley Sharp (Brock) of Tuscaloosa; grandparents, Billy and Jackie Sharp of Northport; grandmother, Ola Lee Wyres of Tuscaloosa; other survivors include many aunts, uncles and cousins. Anna was dearly loved by a host of friends in Tuscaloosa, Birmingham and Nashville and was the purist example of how to be a great friend. A special mention of thanks to the staff and congregation of FUMCT, employees of Bryant Bank, and UAB medical teams assisting in Anna’s care.
