Betty K. Johnston

Betty K. Johnston age 92 of Ralph Al went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 2, 2024. Service will be at Shiloh Baptist Church on September 5 at 11 am with Steve Strickland and Dan Arsenault officiating. The family will accept family and friends one hour prior to the service. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Johnston; sons Darron Johnston and Frankie Johnston. 

She is survived by her daughter, Jean Jacobs (Ray); Son Allen Johnston (Debbie); and son, Joe Johnston (Stephanie); 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and lifelong friend, Judy Burns. 

Betty Johnston was born on May 13, 1932. She loved God above all else and loved her family dearly. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She opened her home and heart to everyone and put others before herself. She was a devoted member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She loved cooking, word search puzzles, collecting wind chimes, The Price is Right, Alabama football, and her pets. Her family will miss her but are thankful for the promise of Heaven. 

Pallbearers will be Roy Jacobs, Nathan Poole, Junior Marcum, Frank Marcum, Dexter Durren, and Craig Windle. 

Honorary pallbearers are members of Shiloh Baptist Church, Forest Manor Rehabilitation Center, Dr. John Warren, and Hunter Reynolds.
