Betty Richards

Betty May Richards went home to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, November 27, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmommie. Mrs. Richards will have a Celebration of life on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at Englewood Baptist Church. Visitation will start at 4:30 at the church. Mrs. Richards was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Octavia Maddox; brother, John Maddox; sister, Pearlie Champion, great-grandson and special Angel Ethan Grantham. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 and a half years, William E. “Bill” Richards; daughter, Connie (Glenn) Rushing; sons, Mike (Tracy) Richards, Billy (Carissa) Richards; grandchildren, Teri Jo (Charles) Grantham, James (Lauren) Rushing, Crystal Richards, Lee (Loran) Richards, Trent Richards; great grandchildren; Hunter (Cheyenne) Grantham, Bradley Rushing, Nate Grantham, Bailey Richards, Roxzee Richards and Maylee Rushing. Honorary Pallbearers will be friends and family of Englewood Baptist Church. In Lieu of flowers make donations to Hospice of West Alabama.
