Billy Glasgow

Billy Glasgow, age 71 of Fayette, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017 at home. Services will be Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Piney Grove Pentecostal Independent Church with Rev. Delton Harrison and Norman Burrage officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Piney Grove Pentecostal Independent Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Millie Glasgow; brother, Jimmy Glasgow; wife Juanita Glasgow. Billy is survived by his daughters, Deborah Ann Glasgow, Connie McCollum (Jimmy), Mary Glasgow and Michelle Thomas (Ethan); sons, Ben Glasgow and Joseph Glasgow (Liz); sisters, Mildred Stough and Betty McClain; brothers, Buddy Glasgow, Mickey Glasgow, Ralph Glasgow, Randy Glasgow, Benny Glasgow and Tim Glasgow; seven grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. Billy was a great daddy, pawpaw, minister, teacher and friend to everyone.Pallbearers are Jacob Glasgow, Richy Glasgow, Will Glasgow, Owen McCollum, Ethan Thomas, Aaron Glasgow, Jonah Glasgow and Tony Locke. Honorary pallbearers are the Fayette Medical Center and Amedisys Hospice Care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Piney Grove Pentecostal Independent Church.
