Carol Ann Webster

Carol Ann Webster, age 71 of Birmingham, AL passed away April 2, 2021. The family will hold a private service at a later date. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, James and Doris Jones Whitehead and a sister, Sandy Nelson. Survivors include her husband, Hal Webster; daughter, Tiffany Sekyra; brother, Larry Whitehead (Andria); and two grandchildren, Andrew Van Dyke and Madeline Van Dyke. Carol grew up in Birmingham and was a graduate of Minor High School Class of 1967. She attended Jacksonville State University. She was a loving wife to Hal for decades and a loving mother and grandmother. She was a longtime member of Asbury Methodist Church. Carol had struggled with dementia for quite some time but during this past year she had a difficult time and had required professional medical care. The last month was extremely difficult, Carol was hospitalized last Tuesday and passed away Friday evening at Baptist Princeton Hospital. Hal said that as difficult as this is for their family, he is grateful that Carol is no longer suffering and is now in a better place.
