Carolyn Hood

Carolyn Hood, age 65 of Fayette, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021. Services will be Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel Funeral Home with Jeff Wright officiating. Visitation will be Monday, September 13, 2021, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. There will be a graveside service Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Alabama National Cemetery. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, James Roy Hood; mother, Othal Hurt; father, James Hurt; brothers, James Olivet Hurt and Joseph Hurt; and granddaughter, Abby Hood. She is survived by her son, Rodney Hood (Karon); daughter, Synthia Hood; step-son, Kenneth Hood; grandson, Brandon Hood, Corey Tittle (Mallorie); great-grandchildren, Riley Tittle and Colt Tittle; brother, Gary Hurt (Carol); and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, any donations made to surviving children would be appreciated. Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Hood, Rick Mann, Scott Mayo and Corey Tittle.
